The Rāhui RFC would like to extend an
invitation to our up coming event. Please find attached our
information handbook for the fourth annual Rāhui Junior Sevens
Tournament. The date is set for;
Sunday 14 August 2016
to be held at;
Ōtaki Domain, Jim Spiers Lane,
Ōtaki.
The tournament is an open weight event
from under 8s through to under 13s and is limited to eight teams per grade
(please ensure you have prove of age in case an age is challenged).
The entry fee is $60 per team, all entering teams are
guaranteed at least three pool games. Coaches and
managers are encouraged to enter early to
avoid disappointment as grades filled quickly last year.
All winning teams will be awarded a trophy and each squad
member will be awarded a winners medal. This year we will also have
a fair play trophy awarded to a team in every grade.
Clubs are advised that
the conduct and control of their members and invited guests is THEIR
responsibility. Verbal and/or physical abuse directed at players, officials or
supporters WILL NOT be tolerated. Any breach of this rule
will, on the order of the Tournament Control Committee, result in a team
being DISQUALIFIED from the tournament.
There will be plenty of food & drinks
available at the Domain on the day.
