OLD TIMERS DAY CELEBRATIONS
Are you a former Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby player, coach, referee, volunteer or administrator?
As part of the Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Union 125 Year celebrations, an HKRFU Old Timers Day will be held on Saturday 22nd September at the Levin Domain.
The Horowhenua Kapiti Heartland team play Wairarapa Bush on this day for the PGG Wrightson Cup and as part of the day’s celebrations, Old Timer’s will have their contributions to rugby in Horowhenua Kapiti acknowledged. Registrations for the day are open to any former players, referees, coaches, administrators and volunteers who have been involved in Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby.
“An Old Timers Day is an awesome opportunity for us to say thank you to a large number of our rugby community who have contributed to rugby in Horowhenua Kapiti. From player’s right through to volunteers who have been the heart of ‘Nua rugby, we want to acknowledge everyone, and this is our chance to do so.” said Corey Kennett, Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer.
To register, send an email through to the Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Union office on office@hkrfu.co.nz and you’ll receive free entry to the Mitre 10 Heartland Championship game between Horowhenua Kapiti and Wairarapa Bush, along with being hosted at the game from 1pm onwards.
