Nine selected for the Hurricanes Heartland U20 Team
Congratulations to nine of our Horowhenua Kapiti U20 players who were named in the Hurricanes Heartland U20 Team.
Players selected from Horowhenua Kapiti are: Dallas Wiki (Shannon), Poleka Itielu (Waikanae), Moses Pearce (Foxton), Josh Rauhihi (Shannon), Arana Murphy (Foxton), Shae Gray (Foxton), Toroa Rapana (Foxton), Xavier Pereka (Waikanae and captain), Sean Pape (Shannon).
The team will play three matches in the Central Region Shield, commencing this coming Saturday, against Hawkes Bay RFU, at Palmerston North. The team’s second match will be played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Friday, 23 August as the Curtain-Raiser to the Mitre 10 Cup match, with the third game to be played in Palmerston North the following weekend.
