Congratulations to Dean File, who has been named as a finalist for the NZ Rugby Volunteer of the Year award, to be announced at the Steinlager Awards. Dean is the Shannon RFC Chairman and is the bar manager. Dean also looks after the club sponsorship and runs events, such as the Shannon 7’s. This year Dean organised a fundraising appeal for injured rugby player, Nat Manville, which raised over $10,000. Well done Dean!
